espresso cup

A classic espresso cup, holding 150ml, in my seascape design. Height 6.5cm approx. Each cup is hand thrown on my potters wheel. After its first firing it is glazed white inside and then in three different ways on the outside to create the effect of sand, sea and sky; a time consuming process! Afterwards it is fired again to 1270 to produce the final results. Finally the base is smoothed to ensure it can be used on polished surfaces.
